Jeddah contracting is one of the effective economic sectors; as the investments in this sector are estimated by approximately 50 billion Saudi Riyals annually (70% goes for the residential units, while the remaining 30% goes for the other projects such as: the markets, schools, tourism facilities, renovation projects, factories and other fields). Moreover, this sector includes a number of the major companies, not only in Jeddah but in the entire kingdom; the activities of many of those companies spread Kingdom wide. Mr. ABDULLAH BAKR REDWAN; who was born in Madinah, 1373H, has commenced his commercial activity since he was an undergraduate. After obtaining the secondary school certificate in Madinah, he joined the Faculty of Commerce in Riyadh, and later he joined King Abdul-Aziz University. Now, he is Chairman of AlRedwan Company, in addition to his membership in many committees, he is the Head of the Construction and Real Estate committee in Jeddah Chamber of Commerce and Industry.  

Throughout his career, he never forgets the nature of the society and the requirements of Saudi family in the different projects - such as building residential districts for doctors, engineers, police officers and faculty members along with involving the authorities of which such categories affiliate in all work steps.

Al Tayarin Villas project in Jeddah is one of his first projects that it did not take long time to extend to many cities around KSA. At the outset of his projects are the following: Al Farsi Center, Cornich Garden, Al Matbouli Trading Building, Al Rajhi Banking Office, Makkah Meridian Hotel, Abdullatif Jameel Hotel in Makkah, and Makkah Medical Center. The contracts implemented by the company in Madinah exceeded One Billion Riyal. In the western region, the company implemented Al-hasa Hospital Building. Insurance Villas Complex in Yanbu, National Bank Villas Complex in Jeddah, and SASCO Company Stations all over KSA. In addition to a number of hospitals buildings established in Riyadh. As Mr. Abdullah Redwan is convinced that the constructional work is about linked chains, he decided to establish a number of ready mix concrete factories in Jeddah and Makkah; which are considered one of a kind as well as the factory of decorations and wood works. He has aimed to educate his children in the major universities in USA. They commenced their career ten years ago, and they excelled in the establishment of hotels, tourism projects, commercial and administrative centres, residential complexes, mosques, residential towers and buildings, public service buildings, hospitals and schools.
